  30. I think maybe you are right.  I recently bought a PC, but now I am 
  31. selling it to buy a PC laptop.  Why, well several reasons, all having to
  32. do with what is available for it but not my Amiga.  Also I kind of need 
  33. portability for work>  I am lucky to have the money to have both.  I 
  34. still prefer to use my Amiga, I'm still President of my Amiga group, and 
  35. I doubt seriously if I would ever join a PC group.

  37. The thing is, as I just wrote in responce to another thread, is that a 
  38. change of owner of a company doesn't necessarily mean anything.  Also, I 
  39. think that what has been done in only one year is amazing.  AT has 
  40. accomplised alot.  Everyone is upset over nothing.  If in 3 or 4 months 
  41. nothing is happening then maybe the sky is really falling.  I, for one, 
  42. think the the purchase will make a good situation even better.

  44. Oh, I sold a PC XT in 1985 and bought one of the first A1000's.  I have 
  45. never been sorry.  I now have a home made A4000T and love it.  I already 
  46. have the money saved for a Power Amiga and have already told my dealer 
  47. that I want the first fix, er PA that he gets.
